At the heart of pennyB’s is Penny Blake, our sweet daughter and the inspiration behind everything we do. Every bar of soap, every new milestone, and every connection we’ve made stems from the dream of creating something she could be proud of. Penny reminds us daily of the beauty in small, thoughtful things—and that’s exactly what we strive to bring into every product we make.
This year, with Penny as our inspiration and backbone, we’ve reached incredible heights. Here’s a look at some of the achievements that made this year so special:
1. Over 2,500 Bars of Soap Sold
That’s 2,500 moments of care and comfort shared with our customers! Each bar represents not only our craftsmanship but also the love and dedication that goes into every detail—values Penny has helped instill in us.
2. Tuolumne County’s Entrepreneur of the Year
This recognition means the world to us. Being named Entrepreneur of the Year isn’t just a milestone for us as business owners but also a reminder of the incredible community that’s supported pennyB’s from day one.
3. Our In-Home Production Studio
Earlier this year, we created a dedicated production studio right in our home—a space where we can create, experiment, and grow. It’s here, in this personal and purposeful environment, that every bar of pennyB’s soap is handcrafted with care.
Looking Ahead: Two Exciting Launches on January 1
As we celebrate pennyB’s first year, we’re also looking ahead to the exciting new ventures that await us in 2025.
1. Bare Essentials Product Line
This minimalist collection will feature:
- Essential Oils for clean, natural fragrances.
- Clay Colors for a touch of natural beauty in every bar.
Bare Essentials represents everything we love about simple, quality skincare, and we can’t wait to share it with you!
2. PennyB’s Soap Club Subscription Box
Starting January 1, we’re launching pennyB’s Soap Club! This monthly subscription box will bring exclusive soap scents and surprises straight to your door.
For January, our featured scent is Spice Chai, accompanied by a locally brewed chai tea blend. Spots are extremely limited—only 18 slots are available for the inaugural month.
